Vijay Eswaran is a Malaysian author and entrepreneur. He was born in 1960. He is the co-founder the QI Group of companies and serves as its Executive Chairman. He graduated from the prestigious London School of Economics in 1984. He learned about binary system marketing while in the UK. In 1986, he went to America and joined the Southern Illinois University for his MBA.

While studying in America, Vijay Eswaran worked for Synaptics on a part-time basis. He got exposed to multilevel marketing (MLM). On returning home, he joined Cosway Group.

In 1998, he co-founded a multilevel company that expanded to become QI Group. The company is a now a multinational conglomerate made of different and unique businesses. The company has offices in countries like Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. The company is also present in about thirty countries through different subsidiary companies.
